Alessandro Bertacchini is an industrial engineer with a strong passion for clean energy and sustainability. Since 2015, he has been part of the sales department at Turboden, a leading provider of distributed energy systems focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency projects leveraging ORC technology.

Currently, Alessandro oversees the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) applications at Turboden. Together with his team, he is responsible for the development, design, and construction of decentralized small-to-medium Waste-to-Energy plants on a global scale. He actively advocates for integrating Energy-from-Waste solutions into urban environments, aiming to minimize waste transportation and maximize benefits for local communities through efficient waste utilization.
