Jeff is a high profile and widely respected finance professional with over 20 years’ experience of providing advice to the renewable energy and waste sectors. He has advised on over 50 waste transactions, reaching financial close on fifteen of these and clients include local authorities, developers, funders and investors, waste operators and governments. He is a chartered accountant and worked for over 16 years at Ernst & Young (EY) in their renewable energy team providing commercial and financial advice for its most complex transactions. In 2020, he left EY and founded EfW Consulting Limited, a market leading consultancy practise providing high quality advice and support on developing waste to energy projects around the world. The business’s current clients stretch through the UK, Europe, the Caribbean and Middle Eastern markets. He is highly regarded for his natural commercial skills as well as his transactional experience and technical and contractual knowledge, including expert witness roles.
