Richard Brooke is Commercial Director for Augean. Augean is a leading UK operator managing hard to handle wastes at its treatment and disposal infrastructure focussing on delivering best environmental outcomes. For the UK’s Energy from Waste (EfW) sector, Augean treats more Air Pollution Control Residues (APCr) than any other operator. Augean treats other residues from EfW’s and also provides Industrial Services for the sector. Richard has over 30 years waste management experience having previously worked for Tamar Energy, New Earth Solutions and Waste Recycling Group, and also for Redland Aggregates and Steetley Quarry Products. Richard is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and is also a member of The Yorkshire Climate Action Coalition which is a business-led group with a common desire to address the climate challenge.
