Owen is the President of Encyclis, a leading global energy from waste company dedicated to building a safer, cleaner, more prosperous world by ensuring no waste is ever wasted.

With wide ranging experience in the development of brownfield land, low carbon energy assets and waste infrastructure, Owen has also managed investments in Ports, Airports, Commercial Real Estate, Media assets and Coal Mines.

As the Chief Executive of the Harworth Group he took over the stand-alone operations of Harworth Estates at the start of the restructuring of UK Coal in 2010 prior to re-listing the business on the main market of the London Stock Exchange in 2015.

Owen has previously served as a Non-Executive Director of a range of organizations and companies including UK Coal, Ayrshire Power, Sheffield City Airport, the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, the Community Forrest Trust and the Tall Ships Youth Trust. He is currently the Chair of the British Property Federation’s Regional Policy Committee, and a Non-Executive Director of Exeter Port Authority and the Godwin Group.

Sébastien Petithuguenin graduated from ENSAE Paris in 2001.   Created 80 years ago, ENSAE Paris is the leading engineering school in quantitative economics and sociology, statistics and machine learning, finance and actuarial science -  He has been a business analyst for Connex UK for two years.

Sébastien then entered Paprec, the company created by his father in 1994 with 40 persons in the suburbs of Paris and dedicated to paper recycling.  Sébastien lead several missions then became Managing Director in 2006. Paprec developed to become the French leader in recycling and number 2 in waste management.  

In 2018, Paprec entered the waste to energy field. With the acquisition of Tiru, Inova Operations, CNIM E&E and CNIM EPC, the group is now a major organisation in green energy production in France and in Europe. 

Sébastien is now CEO of Paprec Energies.

John is Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, which is a recycling and energy recovery company employing over 5,600 people in the UK operating from over 320 sites, including 11 EfW plants managing c2.5 million tonnes and an installed gross capacity of over 200MW.  In addition, SUEZ has 20 internally operated landfill gas generation schemes and 17 operated by third party operators with a total installed capacity of over 50MW.

The Company provides services to one in three people in the UK and its vision is ‘to live in a world where there is no more waste!’

John’s industrial leadership and strategic vision has been forged over his 30-year career with SUEZ, since joining in 1991 as one of the company’s first employees in the UK. He has been an integral part of the executive committee since 2003.

John has held a variety of operational and business development roles within SUEZ, which lead to becoming Chief Operating Officer of Operations in 2015, and prior to that Chief Operating Officer of the Processing division.

Pierre has over 15 years of experience in the Power and Energy from Waste industries, both in operational and capital projects. Driving safety and operational excellence as well as leading business transformation.  

During his career Pierre has delivered EPC projects within the power industry operating Energy from Waste facilities, leading Landfill Gas operations and now driving operational excellence within Polymers and Energy from Waste businesses within Viridor.
