Adam is a member of the Suez UK Management Board since 2017, and has over 30 years’ experience in academia, local government, and environmental consultancy.
His PhD focused on UK waste policy failures, and he received an MBE in 2024 for his contribution to the evolution of the resources sector, in particular the growth of recycling and more recently commercial reuse and repair.
Adam co-leads Suez’s policy engagement with Government and works with ESA, Aldersgate Group, Green Alliance, and CIWM on future regulations. He collaborates with brands on packaging reforms and WRAP’s Plastic Pact initiatives.
A former CIWM President, he champions green skills, served on the UK Green Jobs Delivery Group, mentors young professionals, and promotes careers in the circular economy.
