Jakub Bator is a specialist in waste-to-energy, management, and environmental engineering. He holds a degree in management from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
From 2011 to 2025, as a Management Board Member of Krakowski Holding Komunalny S.A., he was responsible for the development and operation of one of Poland’s first municipal Waste-to-Energy plants in Kraków — a project that later became a benchmark for subsequent WtE investments in the country.
He currently serves as Country Manager Poland at Indaver, where he is responsible for the development of new Waste-to-Energy projects across Poland.
Jakub is a co-founder and board member of the Polish Waste-to-Energy Association (SPEO) and represents Poland within CEWEP (Confederation of European Waste-to-Energy Plants), actively contributing to the development of modern waste management policies at both national and European levels.
At AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, he conducts doctoral research focused on CO₂ utilisation through mineral carbonation processes.
He is a recognised speaker at international industry conferences, where he shares practical experience and his vision for the future of waste management and energy systems, with a strong focus on sustainable solutions supporting the energy transition and climate protection.
