Leigh has worked in the environmental sector for 30 years, beginning in waste chemistry and chemical safety with the Environment Agency, followed by a stint in Environmental Consultancy before joining the waste industry with Waste Recycling Group, subsequently FCC Environment. Since then he has worked in environmental management throughout FCC’s various waste management activities and is currently the Lead Environment Manager for the Energy Division, also chairing the ESA’s Greenhouse Gas Permit Working Group. In his spare time he plays guitar and cello and is a trustee of Nottingham Bach Choir.
