Nicolas Nouvel is an Executive Director at Eren Groupe, a Paris-based family office managing over €1bn in equity capital. He holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Cambridge and began his career in the specialty chemicals industry, where he progressed from R&D to global commercial leadership roles. He later founded a carbon capture utilisation startup converting CO₂ into methanol, successfully exiting the company before transitioning into investment and joining Eren Groupe. Nicolas specializes in connecting DeepTech clean technologies with large scale industrial implementation. He leads the group’s investment strategy in waste to X and industrial decarbonization. Most recently, he originated and structured a major investment platform dedicated to waste to molecule projects, including waste to SAF pathways.
