James is an Executive Director and the Head of Advisory at Tribe Infrastructure Group, based in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. James started his career in the UK in the early 2000’s working on numerous UK waste PFI projects in various technical, commercial and financial roles. After moving to the UAE in 2010, initially with Ernst & Young, and then the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa), James moved to Tribe in 2014. Tribe Infrastructure Ltd (‘Tribe Advisory’) is a global financial and commercial advisory firm operating across all infrastructure sectors, across multiple continents. James advised the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Masdar) on the Sharjah waste to energy project, the first project financed facility of its kind in the GCC, and first plant in the UAE (reaching financial close in 2018). James then acted as the lead and financial advisor to Dubai Municipality on the 1.9 MTPA, 200MWe, Dubai Waste Management Centre, which reached financial close in summer of 2021. James is currently advising the Abu Dhabi Government on a 900,000 TPA waste to energy facility which is currently in the procurement stage
