Martin is the Project Director of Next Generation Renewables at Greenergy, driving next generation waste projects that support a circular economy and net zero. Martin leads Greenergy’s waste tyre-to-renewables project together with various other waste-to-X projects. With over 35 years’ experience in oil, EPC, waste and project finance, Martin has been involved in developing, funding, constructing and operating waste-to-fuels, waste-to-energy, MBTs, and anaerobic digestion projects, including Belvedere EfW and Greater Manchester Waste MBT in the UK. Martin has also led a number of businesses internationally and in the UK, including one of the UK’s largest waste companies and one of the largest EPC contractors. Martin has a degree in Process and Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University and a Master of Business Administration, Business and Strategy from The University of Sheffield.
