Stephen has spent his career within the waste, resources, renewables and environment sectors where he has always sought to make a positive difference to the environment and people’s lives. Stephen obtained a first-class honours degree in Environment Management before then successfully completing his Engineering Doctorate at Cranfield University. Stephen’s career has seen him employed by several well known and respected organisations in various operational, engineering, business development and commercial roles including waste management companies and global consultancies. During this time Stephen has helped to successfully deliver approximately £500m of waste treatment and renewable energy infrastructure for both the public and private sector. Stephen has provided support to clients on various aspects including due diligence, expert witness reports, technology evaluation and selection and feedstocks. Stephen is a Director and Chief Strategic Development Officer and is the founder and Dorector of Ceres a consultancy providing support to the waste, renewables and environment sectors. Stephen is also an active member within the sector sitting as a Board member and Industrial Advisor to the Industrial Biotechnology and Innovation Centre (IBioIC), a Board member at Cre (The Irish Composting and Anaerobic Digestion Association), and an Industrial Advisor to Cranfield University. Stephen has also worked with Government, and policy organisations to help shape policy within the sectors.
